Great leisure activities around
Rinsbacherhof in the Aurina Valley

You will find nature in its purest form in the area around Rinsbacherhof in the picturesque village of Lappach in Aurina Valley, South Tirol. And naturally, these stunning surroundings offer fantastic leisure activities year-round for young and old.

Make use of the numerous footpaths around the "Lappach Stausee“ reservoir or try the mountain top trail. The Kneipp facility in Lappach is also free to our guests and it’s an easy walk from there to the Lappach Waterfalls. Or work on your physical fitness along the Slimmers‘ Path.

A particular attraction for young people and families is the "Klausberg Speedster" - the longest alpine rollercoaster in Italy. This rollercoaster is 1800m in length with spectacular bends and curves and a 360° rotation into the valley.

If you like your holiday to include the occasional excursion or sightseeing tour, you’ll also find Rinsbacherhof perfect for you: the colliery at Prettau, 30km away is well worth a visit, as is the Museum of Folk History in Dietenheim or the beautiful town of Bruneck where you can buy typical South Tirolean specialities at the Wednesday market.

Day trips in the area are also very tempting: around 100 km away you’ll find Bolzano with its Ötzi the Ice Man Museum, and on the way back you could visit Lake Caldaro. Innsbruck or Verona, the town of Romeo and Juliet with an impressive amphitheatre, can also be easily reached within a day. Many guests also use their stay at Rinsbacherhof to make the memorable trip to Lake Garda or short stopover in Venice.

During winter, there is a ski show at Speikboden ski resort on most Wednesdays. This is a fantastic show with impressive displays by the ski instructors, daring jumps, atmospheric lighting, fireworks, great music & warm drinks.

If fairytale atmosphere is what you are looking for, you’ll find it at the Christmas market at Sand in Taufers and in Bruneck. Both offer a world of Christmassy sounds and smells, homespun products and the sweet scent of warm drinks and sweet snacks.
